Do you want to study art and design at foundation or degree level in the UK? If you do you will need a good art portfolio that demonstrates your ideas, abilities and strengths to help you secure a place 

Artway Portfolio Preparation online course will take you through weekly tasks and introduce you to methods and tools to support you to build the level of portfolio required to apply to Art and Design Courses at UAL, Glasgow School of Art and other top UK Universities and Colleges 

  • We will focus on different areas of study including drawing, collage, painting, 3D, mixed media, graphics and photography 
  • Using basic materials and everyday items, you will develop exciting art & design work and a mini project that can be added to your portfolio by the end of the course 
  • Between lessons there will be weekly tasks to complete that will enrich your work 
  • You will learn how to develop a good creative working practice for future studies 
  • All tuition is in English to stimulate your language development and support you to reach the level it needs to be to confidently progress onto your further studies in the UK 
  • We will give you feedback on your existing art work as well as tips on UK courses, university options and applications

Who is this
Course for

  • Students aiming to apply to any art and design course at foundation or degree level in the UK 
  • Those who have completed a GCSE (or equivalent) in art and design, or those studying art at ‘A Level (or equivalent) 
  • International baccalaureate students who need extra tuition to be better prepared to apply for a foundation or degree course in the UK
  • Students with English language level of IELTS 5.0 or above (or equivalent)
